Octopus Energy was ready to offer flexibility to the GB Balancing Mechanism (BM) through a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Quorum was chosen to provide software and infrastructure to support and streamline critical business processes required to participate in the BM.
Following the acquisition of the West Burton B power station from EDF Energy, West Burton Energy embarked on separating the site’s 1.8GWs of assets from EDF’s IT networks. Quorum was chosen to help establish independent IT infrastructure and provide software to streamline BM processes. West Burton Energy became the first customer to benefit from our enhanced Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) grade-managed infrastructure service offering.
We would love to tell you more about what we can do for you and your business.
